Set in 1971, Così is Louis Nowra’s second semi-autobiographical play. Lewis has recently left university and after countless unsuccessful applications, he reluctantly takes up a job in a mental institution directing Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte. Lewis gradually becomes emotionally involved with his actors’ lives as his operatic production lurches forward and anti-Vietnam protests take place in the streets outside. Così is a classic Australian comedy that celebrates the weird, the wonderful and the mad in us all.

‘I laughed and cried. Great performance. Wonderful work, congratulations to all.’

'Cosi is such a great play. But this production, in particular, is simply mesmerising. We haven't laughed so much in a long while. And the cast is genuinely fantastic - their acting superb. Highly recommended.'
